The Howard University College of Pharmacy Office of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) offers accreditation services to support your continuing education events.  Whether you're planning a seminar, webinar, training session, or certificate program, we will work with you to ensure your program meets ACPE accreditation standards and delivers meaningful educational outcomes. CPE Programs Provide

  • Provide high-quality continuing education (CE) programs both free and fee-based on emerging and clinically relevant topics for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assist colleges, universities, healthcare organizations, and professional associations in planning, developing, and obtaining ACPE accreditation for continuing pharmacy education (CPE) activities.
  • Offer consultation on CE program design, including assessment, learning objectives, educational planning, accreditation compliance, outcomes assessment, and activity evaluation.
  • Support enduring (online) and live educational activities that promote lifelong learning and improve patient care.

The mission of the HUCOP Office of CPE is to promote excellence in patient care and pharmacy practice by providing lifelong learning opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skills, and professional growth of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other health care providers. We are committed to fostering interprofessional collaboration, addressing health disparities, and advancing public health through education. 

 

OUR GOALS
To serve as an accessible and reliable source of in-depth continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Our programs are designed to support professional competency, address current and emerging challenges in pharmacy practice, and promote leadership in delivering patient-centered care.

ACPE with Commendation

Howard University, College of Pharmacy Office of Continuing Professional Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education with Commendation.
