HUCOP Pharmacy student Maya Harris was awarded the Walmart Health Equity Scholarship

Howard University is proud to announce that of the 10 inaugural students awarded the Walmart Health Equity Scholarship for Pharmacy Students, one of them is our own Maya Harris (P4)! She was one of 700 applicants, and we are so proud that she was chosen. She stated that "This scholarship will help me to achieve my career goals by assisting me with the expenses of my education and my boards so that as a pharmacist I can aid in the improvement of public health through research and education awareness, and help address barriers that exist for optimal healthcare in medically and financially underserved areas."
