A.A./PharmD Program
To ensure that the greatest number of students have the opportunity to earn their Pharm.D. at Howard University College of Pharmacy, the AA/PharmD pipeline is an opportunity for students currently attending community college to have a streamlined pathway to do so.
Howard University College of Pharmacy is in partnership with the following Colleges:
Anne Arundel Community College
Community College of Baltimore County
Eligibility for Program
Students interested in the program must be currently enrolled at the above institutions. They must be in good academic standing and in preparation to earn their AA degree before they start the program. A student who does not complete their AA degree before the start of the PharmD program will have to reapply for the following academic year.
How to Apply
To be eligible for admission consideration into the Dual Degree Program, an applicant must apply through PharmCAS (by the end of the first semester of their final year or our March 1 deadline) in anticipation of the successful completion of the Howard University College of Pharmacy's required Pre-Pharmacy program at one of the above-listed feeder institutions; be enrolled in the approved program; and be on track to receive their degree upon completion of their final semester. Furthermore, demonstrate the ability to fulfill all of the Admission Requirements listed.
