Four-Year Entry Level PharmD Program

Howard University College of Pharmacy offers a traditional four-year, in-person Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program, located in the heart of the nation's capital—Washington, D.C.

- Completion of Pre-Pharmacy Prerequisite Courses
All required coursework must be completed prior to matriculation. - Minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.5
Competitive applicants typically exceed this minimum. - Letter of Intent
A personal statement (minimum 250 words) explaining why you are interested in attending pharmacy school and pursuing a PharmD degree. - Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
Must be from a faculty member, mentor, academic advisor, or healthcare employer.
Letters from family members or relatives (by blood or marriage) will not be accepted. - Official Transcripts
Transcripts must be submitted from all previously attended colleges or universities.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a $300 Enrollment Fee and $700.00 Good Faith Fee required for all students when accepting an offer of admission to Howard University College of Pharmacy. The $700.00 Good Faith Fee is deposited to your Student Account.
If student's application meets minimum requirements, an interview invitation with be sent out. Our interviews are held on Saturday's from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.
During the interview, applicants will be assessed on the following technical standards:

- Professional Conduct
- Analysis & Synthesis
