Students have the opportunity to learn about clinical pharmacy practice and pharmacy education in Jamaica at the University of West (UWI) Indies, in Kingston. UWI’s newly started PharmD program represents the progress made in clinical pharmacy practice within the country. Students will be able to learn about the Jamaican health care system and the role of pharmacists within hospitals and clinics as well as how pharmacy education is provided to students.
