In a partnership with Lebanese International University (LIU) students have an opportunity to experience both inpatient pharmacy practice and ambulatory care practices. LIU is one of only a few schools of pharmacy outside of the US that seeks ACPE certification for their PharmD program in Lebanon. Students traveling to LIU will also have an opportunity to meet with LIU pharmacy students and learn what student life is like in Beirut. Howard assesses on a yearly basis the safety of students traveling to Lebanon, and anticipate the first group of students will travel to Lebanon in 2021
