Medical Affairs

This 2-year fellowship will prepare fellows to: 

  • Actively participate in specific arears of Medical Affairs, clinical practice, and academia through intensive, hands-on training and mentorship at these settings 
  • Promote the role and value of a clinically trained pharmacist in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry 
  • Gain experience in various area of Medical Affairs, including medical information, medical strategy, and other areas of interest
  • Develop a highly competent individual with scientific expertise, strong business acumen, and versatility to be able to succeed in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry 

What will the experience be like? 

  • Fellows will rotate through various core Medical Affairs sub-functions 
  • Fellows will work with a designated preceptor and under the mentorship of experienced Medical Affairs professionals 
  • Fellowship experience will focus on developing core Medical Affairs competencies and will include strategic and analytical thinking, as well as execution of projects to deliver results
  • Fellows will contribute to and lead meaningful projects and be an integral team member within the cross-functional organization 
  • Fellows will have an opportunity to collaborate and work with the Global and US Medical teams and cross-functional stakeholders for assigned programs and learn to navigate the complex matrix and team environment.
