The Pharmacists Preparation and Education Program-Pharm Prep 1 Program (formerly PBP) is one of the many support programs offered through the COE to meet the needs of Howard University Student Pharmacists. Pharm Prep 1 is a three-week online pre-matriculation success program. This is the time for you to focus on you and getting a good start in pharmacy school.
The purpose of the Pharm Prep 1 is to provide students with an early academic experience in pharmacy school while improving the on-time graduation rate of Pharm. D. candidates. Pharm Prep 1 is designed to offer a jump start to students in Pharmaceutical Calculations, Structures and Function in Therapeutics (Anatomy/Physiology) and Applied Biomedical Sciences (Biochemistry/Microbiology) while providing first year student pharmacists with an opportunity to prepare, organize and assimilate new scientific knowledge. The Pharm Prep 1 program will also have an online required summer self-study program that will be completed before the Pharm Prep 1 bootcamp.
Registration for summer 2024 will be sent via email to all incoming P1 students.
