Sanofi - Research: Immuno- Oncology Cell Therapy Cluster
Overview:
The Cell Therapy Lab I group within the Immuno-Oncology (IO)
Cluster is seeking a passionate postdoctoral fellow to join our innovative team. We focus on developing advanced peptide-centric strategies to target tumor antigens.
As a postdoctoral fellow, you will collaborate closely with IO scientists on research projects, with opportunities to present and publish your findings. This project employs a combinatorial approach, utilizing multiple and sequential rounds of positive and negative selection, along with artificial intelligence (AI) strategies, to develop potent and precise therapies for novel targets.
Success in this role will be driven by strong molecular and cell biology skills and the ability to work effectively with internal experts in drug discovery, functional genomics, and bioinformatics. Join us to advance your career and contribute to the development of first-in- class cell therapies!
Goal:
- Isolate, culture, and engineer cell lines and primary cells
- Phenotype primary cells and cell lines using flow cytometry
- Utilize various molecular engineering techniques (e.g., viral transduction, CRISPR/Cas9) to screen for functional biology
- Collaborate with internal colleagues to achieve project goals
Education:
PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Genetics, or a related field
Required:
- Proven success in independent scientific research, including peer-reviewed publications
- Proficiency in molecular and cell biology techniques, including mammalian cell culture, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, flow cytometry, western blot, and others
- Experience with genetic engineering methods, such as viral transduction and CRISPR/Cas9
- Strong ability to learn quickly and draw accurate conclusions from data conclusions from data
- Self-motivated with the capability to independently advance research programs and collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment
- Comfortable working with bioinformatics tools; experience in this area is a plus
- Good communication skills (personal, verbal, and written in English)
- Ability to stay organized, plan complex long-term experiments, and maintain detailed records
Preferred:
- Foundational knowledge of primary cell biology, with hands-on experience with primary human cells
- Familiarity with high-throughput pooled screening techniques
- Ability to work with bioinformatics tools
