US Medical Affairs Field Medical Accounts and Value Communications

Overview: 

GSK is proud to partner with Howard University College of Pharmacy to offer a 2year US Medical Affairs (USMA) Fellowship Program with a focus on Medical Strategy and Value Communications in the Medical Account team. The Medical Accounts team focuses on building trusted relationships with Population Decision Makers through high quality interactions enabling informed planning, access, and management decisions across GSK portfolio and relevant disease states. Fellows have a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a clinical setting and apply those learnings in a medical affairs pharmaceutical industry setting particularly for population decision makers such as Payers, Pharmacy Benefit Managers, Organized Provider Groups, etc. Our goal is to provide the opportunity for fellows to gain the skills, knowledge and experience needed to pursue a career in pharmaceutical industry. Job Summary: 

2024-2026 Available Positions - July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2026  

1 US Medical Affairs Fellow for Medical Accounts 

During the 2-year Fellowship, Fellows will spend approximately 6 months at Howard University Hospital (or partnering clinic) and 18 months at GSK in the Medical Accounts team of US Medical Affairs. In addition, there is an opportunity to gain 1-2 rotational experiences based on the Fellow's interest and business need such as Value Evidence and Outcomes, Medical Information, US Medical Affairs Therapy Area, and Global Clinical Safety and Pharmacovigilance.
